Millican Land & Royalty Trust was formed in 1969 by Mills P. Walker and Fletcher L. Pool as a repository of certain mineral interest acquired through the operation and ownership of Lawrence Grocery Company and Millican Royalty Company, as predecessors during the 1940s and 1950s. The First Bank and Trust (now defunct) was established as the original trustee for Millican Land & Royalty Trust and succeeded by First American Bank. Lynn Elliott assumed the role as trustee in 1991. The Trust currently holds mineral interest approximately 8,700 undivided mineral acres in five counties in Texas. Those counties include Hidalgo, Burleson, Robertson, Leon and Brazos Counties. Mr. Elliott serves as trustee for Millican Land & Royalty Trust and owns a substantial number of shares in the Trust.
